Voltnova began with a simple belief: an electric bike should be as capable crossing town at rush hour as it is exploring mountain switchbacks. Instead of launching a catalog, we concentrate on one platform—the Voltnova One—and pour our resources into the details that make every ride unforgettable.
Where we started
In 2019 our founders were splitting their lives between city studios and alpine trails. The bikes they could buy forced a choice: light and nimble but short on range, or powerful and heavy enough to forget the third-floor walk-up. We decided to stop choosing.
Months of late-night prototyping followed—hydroformed tubing, belt drives, custom controllers. The breakthrough came when we integrated battery, electronics, and frame into a unified spine. Suddenly the bike carried its own strength without excess weight.
